Recht auf Stadt – never mind the papers!

Am 13. Dezember findet der Landesparteitag der SPD Hamburg im Bürgerhaus Wilhelmsburg statt. Dort will die aktuelle Regierungspartei ihr Programm für die Bürgerschaftswahlen im Februar 2015 verabschieden. Zu Wahl steht ein SPD-Senat der denkt, alles richtig gemacht zu haben. Dem widersprechen wir!
Es leben in dieser Stadt viele Menschen auf der Straße oder unter schrecklichen Bedingungen. Geflüchtete, die vor Kriegen geflohen sind,
werden von sozialen Rechten ausgeschlossen und als “Illegale” bezeichnet. Menschen haben kein Recht zu Arbeiten weil sie die falschen
Papiere besitzen, während Arbeitgeber*innen von ihrem ungeschützten Status profitieren. Die Mieten steigen und viele Menschen werden aus
ihren Vierteln verdrängt.
Unsere Forderungen sind:
- Eine Arbeitserlaubnis für alle die in Hamburg leben!
- Das Recht auf Wohnen unter menschenwürdigen Lebensbedingungen – Wohnungen für Alle statt Lager!
- Bleiberecht für alle in Hamburg lebenden Menschen - keine Abschiebungen mehr!
Wir sind alle Teil dieser Stadt – wir haben alle ein Recht auf diese Stadt. Am Samstag und in den folgenden Wochen werden wir unsere Stimmen erheben und so viel Druck auf den Senat ausüben wie wir können um die Flüchtlingspolitik zu ändern.

On December 13th, the party conference of the SPD Hamburg will take place at Bürgerhaus Wilhelmsburg. There, the governing party of Hamburg wants to adopt its program for the upcoming elections in February 2015. Up for election is a senate who thinks it did everything the right way.
We disagree!
A lot of people are living on the streets or under terrible conditions in this city. Refugees who fled from war are excluded from social rights and declared as “illegals”. People have no right to work because they have the wrong papers, while employers profit from their unprotected status. The rents are rising and many people are pushed out of their neighborhoods.
Our demands are:
- A work permit for everybody who lives in Hamburg!
- The right of housing in humane living conditions – flats for everybody instead of “Lager”!
- The right to stay for all people who live in Hamburg – no more deportations!
We are all part of this city – we all have a right to the city. Who we are:
A new alliance consisting of Lampedusa in Hamburg, groups from the Right to the City network, refugees from Lagers around Hamburg, trade union activist, student organisations and many other groups has formed in Hamburg! We want to campaign for a change in the refugee policy on the occasion of the elections in February 2015 and call ourselves "Right to the City - Never mind the papers!".Termindaten:
