New paths for a Europe from below – How to organise and mobilise transnationally in the current global context?
This workshop reflects on experiences of a “Europe of struggles”: from the various and in particular anti-austerity movements to those converging in Hamburg against the G20. In the context of the “business as usual” of the EU’s neoliberal elites and growth of nationalism and right-wing populism across Europe, we want to discuss perspectives, forms and strategies for a “Europe from below“ with activists from different European countries.
